I received the L’Oreal Oleo Therapy Shampoo & Conditioner in one of my Rite Aid boxes. Even though it’s literally at least 20 hair products in my queue, I had to try this immediately when I saw “oil infused” and “sulfate-free”.
The Oleo Therapy line is L’oreals first oil therapy system. It’s made for dull, dry and damaged hair. Its formula includes a 6 flower oil blend (complete list of ingredients below) and it’s sulfate free.
The OleoTherapy Line includes:
- Deep Recovery Mask
- Self-Heating Hot Oil (treatment)
- Perfecting Oil Essence (serum)
OleoTherapy Oil Infused Shampoo (around $7)
As soon as I went to go wash my hair (weave) I saw how thick the shampoo was. I’ve never seen one like it, it has the consistency and look of a thick gel. If you’re more of a co-washer I’d suggest trying this shampoo. It didn’t strip my hair at all and the moisture it provides is insane. My hair felt clean and it wasn’t dried out at all.
OleoTherapy Oil Infused Conditioner (around $7)
The conditioner is just as great. It’s not gel-ish like the shampoo but it’s very thick. I left it on my hair for about 15-30 and rinsed it off. The moisture you get from it is phenomenal.
After using the system together my hair felt hydrated, smooth and silky. The shine it had was delicious and the smell was floral. There’s no greasiness whatsoever and my hair was not weighed down.
If you have dry hair this is a must try. As usual you can find it at your local Rite Aid and other drugstores & mass retail stores.
