So if you follow me on instagram you know that I was super hype to find the new limited edition Wet n Wild All Access Beauty Coloricon Bronzer & Blush. I normally have to search for new Wet n Wild collections for weeks.
Hold Me Close
Do you see the sparkles? Ain’t it pretty?
Now I don’t know how Hold Me Close qualifies as a bronzer on any skin tone but whatev. She’s the prettiest one in the collection. The primary color can be used as a highlighter. The soft pink blush alone and even mixed with the other shade is very soft. No way the mix and blush alone would even show up or at least look good on my (NC45) skin tone. She’s honestly just the pretty one, unless you’re very fair or just want the highlighter color you might want to pass.
Dusk Till Dawn
This compact is completely matte. The bronzer is a reddish-brown and the blush is a coral pink. The bronzer itself isn’t going to do much for most skin tones. Mixed together they make for a soft blush.
Everything Under The Sun
Everything Under The Sun is the darkest one in the collection. I struggled with swatching it. I had to scrape off the first layer and it got better. I like this one the most because I can actually use it. It would be very subtle though.
I found these at CVS (surprisingly) for $4.19, they’ll be cheaper at Walgreens ($3.99) but I guess CVS wanted to be petty. They are the same HUGE size (0.46 OZ) as their other bronzers. The pigmentation was ok, I really had to work to get them to show up this well. The formula was kinda dry; not at all silky. If you’re any darker than me you might want to pass altogether. They aren’t really medium-deep skin tone friendly. I’m disappointed really, they just look pretty in the pan. If they were more pigmented they would be somewhat more useful. The quality doesn’t compare to the current bronzers or 2012’s bronzer/blushes.
They should be popping up soon in some drugstores, you really never know where to find their limited edition collections.
