Better late than never? lol. OPI Sheer Tints are still available online so I decided to post them.
*2 heavy coats on the index, 2 normal on the middle, 1 heavy on the ring and 1 normal on the pinky*
I’m Never Amberrassed- golden banana
Be Magentale- magenta
I Can Teal You Like Me- blue teal
Don’t Violet Me Down- violet
I love these jellies because they are more opaque than the average. With two heavy coats you’ll get great coverage. You can use more but you’ll have to let them dry between coats. If you don’t let them dry after 2 coats they’ll get really thick and tacky. You can see some pooling on my index finger right above on the Don’t Violet Me Down swatch.
You might have seen my Palm Beach Jellies post from OPI’s sister company Sally Hansen, and the formula is not the same. These are thicker and more opaque. I don’t prefer one collection over the other. I can wear Sheer Tints alone, use them as a top coat (which is there intended use), or mix them over a white base for a pretty mani. The Palm Beach Jellies and sheerer but thinner formula that’s much easier to work with.
Like I said in the beginning of the post the OPI Sheer Tints are still available online. I never even saw them in stores. I grabbed the mini set for $12 on amazon about 6 weeks ago but full bottles are available on Ulta.
