Helloooooo OPI Hello Kitty Collection. I know a lot of people are excited for this collection including fan girls/boys. I mean who doesn’t love Hello Kitty? Most of us had Hello Kitty swag sometime in our lifetime so this collection carries some nostalgia. It features 12 shades but I only bought the 6 I was interested in. Had to save money for Christmas presents. You’ll be able to find this limited edition collection on shelves next month.
Look At My Bow!
It’s a cotton candy pink so I decided to do a sugar spun mani. I used 2 coat of this cutie.
Small + Cute = <3
A light pink and required 3 coats. I could have went without this shade. Nothing is wrong with the formula but it’s just not a color I see myself wearing. She would not be flattering on darker skin tones.
Super Cute In Pink
A fuchsia pink. It’s opaque with 2 coats.
Starry-Eyed For Dear Daniel
I love this opaque deep pink glitter. It only needed 2 coats for full coverage. I really love it.
My Twin Mimmy
Bright sunny yellow. It’s rare when companies make yellows with a good formula. Normally it’s streaky or thick but OPI knocked this out of the park. I used 3 coats. It’s the best yellow I own.
My Pal Joey
This true blue is a little deeper in real life. It’s nothing you haven’t seen before but the formula is great and it’s really opaque. I used 2 coats.
I’m really happy with what I ordered. The colors are cute and the formulas are great. The OPI Hello Kitty Collection is just a solid girlie collection and even if you’re just buying it because it’s Hello Kitty you’ll be happy.
Hello Kitty by OPI will be available in both nail lacquer and GelColor formulas beginning January 2016. Nail lacquers will retail for $9.50 ($11.50 CAN) each at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, beautybrands.com, Chatters, Dillard’s, Regis, ULTA and ulta.com
Check out some nail art I did with the collection.
