Over the past few years OCC has greatly expanded their line. This year they introduced the OCC Stained Gloss. I have 6 of the 8 to show you today.
Lip Tar: Stained Gloss™ is OCC’s newest texture innovation for lips. Inspired by lighting gels and stained glass, Stained Gloss combines the colour saturation of Lip Tar™ with a casual glossy finish that’s ready-to-wear from its first slick application to the high impact stain it leaves behind.
Contains Organic Hemp Oil & Soy-Derived Vitamin E, for a finish that feels as good as it looks!
Paraben-Free courtesy of refreshing Peppermint Oil.
100% Vegan & Gluten-Free
All of the OCC Stained Gloss can be used alone, on top of another lip tar/ product or even as a stain color for your cheeks!
They look like lip gloss but they aren’t. While they last as long as your average gloss, they do not feel sticky or heavy like lipgloss. In fact they kind of look more jelly than glossy. They are easy to apply and you can put on a thin or thicker layer for it to be more opaque. The formula and consistency is really unique and I cannot think of another product to compare it to. OCC really takes their time developing truly unique products.
I like all of these shades. My absolute favorite is Mein Herr, it’s kind of the perfect nude for my skintone. I actually think this would look great on all skintones and deeper tones could use this over their fav nude. Meta and Androgyne are also very beautiful. New Wave and Rhythm are lovely and good for fall. As you can tell Voyeur is the most unusual, I’ve seen on lighter skintones and I hated it but doesn’t look bad on its own on me. I’ll have to mix it with other shades of OCC Stained Gloss or Lip Tars and see what I can come up with.
