Here are the new Milani Color Statement Nail Polishes! This new Color Statement formula has 37 shades (36 below the other is a top coat).
This is your time to shine, with nails that drop-dead dazzle. Our new lacquer – the richest, most color-saturated formula in our lineup – delivers on a long list of patent-pending promises: Exceptional gloss that actually lasts. Detergent and Chip-resistance. Maximum nail protection. In so many different finishes – cream, sheer, metallic. And so many different shades – 37 in total, from neutrals to full-on fashion hues. There’s even a mini set of shimmer and special effects options. Oh so much love with this great lacquer.
Pearl-Plexed is a clear with iridescent shimmer. It’s very fine shimmer and I used 2 coats.
Frenchie is a sheer, off-white polish. I used 2 coats but 1 can be used also if you want a sheerer look.
Lady-Like is a sheer, pinkish white. It’s streaky so I needed more than one coat so it would level out. I used 2-3 coats.
Vintage Lace is a sheer light pink. It’s one of my favorites. 1 to 2 coats gives your nails a nice, natural, healthy look. The formula is great. I think its a must-have for anyone.
Doll Face is a blue based light pink. It’s a cream and I used 2 coats. The formula is thick and I had to use lights coats.
Bombshell is a bubblegum pink. I used 2-3 coats. The formula is thick so the thin coats rule applies.
Cupcake Icing is an orchid pink. It’s a thick cream. I used 2-3 coats.
Hot Pink Rage
Hot Pink Rage is well…. a hot pink. It’s thick as well. It’s a cream and I used 2 coats.
Imperial Purple is a purple violet that’s a not exactly a lavender. This one is thick too. A cream and I used 2 coats.
Ultra Violet is a dark purple with blue shimmer. Very pretty. I used 2 coats.
Sugar Plum is a shimmering, fuchsia plum. I used 2 coats.
Mauving Forward is a purple mauve cream. The formula is thick and I used 2 coats.
Lovely Amethyst is a light amethyst with a bit of shimmer. It’s a metallic. I used 3 coats. It’s streaky.
Mint Crush is a light mint green cream. I used 2 coats. A fav.
Tattle Teal is a true teal cream. I used 2 coats. A fav.
Water Front is a light blue cream. It’s really pretty. I used 2 coats. A fav.
Peri-Wink is a periwinkle cream. It has some fine shimmer you can rarely see. I used 2 coats.
Blue Print is a true blue cream. I used 2 coats. A fav.
Ink Spot is a really deep navy. It’s a cream and I used 2 coats. A pretty dope color.
*messy swatch, sorry*
Spotlight White is a bright white. It’s so hard to find a good white polish. It’s a cream and I used 2-3 coats. It’s not my perfect white, the first coat goes on streaky but it levels out with the second.
Bronze is a bronze with some pink in it. It’s a metallic and I used 2 coats.
Pink Beige is a nude pink cream. I used 3 coats.
Silhouette is an olive-green cream with shimmer. I used 3 coats and it’s a fav.
Charcoal Charm is a charcoal with some blue in it. Kinda hard to describe. It has some shimmer in it and a metallic. I used 3 coats.
Corrupted Coral is a bright coral with some pink to it. It’s a cream and I used 2 coats. A fav.
Mango Tango is an orange-red cream. I used 2 coats.
Red Label is your true blue red. I used 2 coats.
Modern Rouge is a red cream. It’s brighter and less blue that Red Label. I used 2-3 coats.
Iconic Red is a deep cherry red cream. I used 2 coats.
Ruby Stone is a ruby-red metallic with shimmer. I used 2 coats.
Enchanting is a deep wine cream. It’s pretty freaking gorgeous. I used 2-3 coats.
Rainbow Prism is a silver holographic glitter topper. It reminds me of my favorite topper, Techo by China Glaze. I used 1 or 2 coats in the swatches.
Gilded Rocks is my absolute favorite! It’s a pink and gold glitter topper. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s gorgeous. I used 1 or 2 coats in the swatches.
Club Lights is a pink and fuchsia glitter topper. I used 1 or 2 coats in the swatches.
Gold Plated is my second fav. It’s a true gold metallic with pink shimmer. It’s sheer so I used 3 coats.
Crimson Jewel is pretty much Dorothy’s Ruby Slippers in a bottle. It’s a dark red with red glitter. I used 2-3 coats and it’s really one of the only polishes with some texture.
Whew, that was a lot. I’m not going to lie, when I swatched the first 8 I hated them. The ones I noted as thick were really thick and were pooling like crazy. It was my fault, I had to apply them differently. It’s better to apply thin coats with the creams. Once you put the second coat on it’s like magic… They transform to a beautiful, high quality lacquer with a brilliant shine. The formula is really amazing. And they all dry fast! I mean super fast drying, I don’t have any other polishes that dry this quickly.
I really didn’t care for most of the metallics because they looked streaky.
I’m highly impressed with the New Milani Color Statement Polishes ($3.99). They are $1 cheaper than the previous ones. They have been popping up in CVS’s near me for over a week now. These are a replacement for the current Milani polishes and the Gold Label polishes released last year. These are only available at CVS and Milanicosmetics.com
The only thing I wish is that the color selection was wider. I know they’ll probably be expanding the line later but I would love to see brighter colors and a few more toppers.
See any you want?
