Finally Micellar Water has gained popularity and made it to the masses. You might have just started seeing the product mentioned on blogs, instagram and in stores but Micellar Water has been around for a long time. Professional makeup artists have been using it to remove makeup on set without water.
Micellar Water is made up from molecules called micelles. The molecules lift dirt and oil and dissolves them. It’s really one of the most interesting products I’ve ever come across. The water is basically a cleanser, moisturizer and makeup remover. It’s a lazy girls dream. There’s no rinsing or nothing, just shake it well and squirt some on your cotton pad and wipe your face. My face feels refreshed and moisturized after using, I like it so much I found myself just using it throughout the day for no reason. There’s no rubbing or scrubbing, you simply just wipe your face.
Tip: If a cotton ball/pad isn’t big enough, buy a container of baby wipes and open them to dry them out. Saturate the pad with Micellar Water and there you go.
Garnier has 2 Micellar Water’s available; one regular and the other to help remove waterproof makeup. It contains NO Oil, Alcohol or Fragrance. While it’s made for all skin types, those with oily skin might not feel clean enough so keep your regular cleanser around.
Many brands make Micellar Water but Garnier is the only one I’ve tried. I have friends that tried multiple brands but they all said Garnier was their favorite. And it’s the cheapest! You can find it in all drugstores.
