Star Powder is a silky powder that catches the light and gives the skin an intense sparkle and unparalleled shine. It’s extremely fine, yet dense texture makes it easy to apply. Only a small amount is needed for visible results.
Star Powder can be used alone or blended together, applied over other make-up or mixed with make-up of any texture to highlight areas of the face
960, 902, 921
I picked up these beauties at The Makeup Show last year. Most of the star powders look different colors depending on how the light hits them. They are silky and extremely pigmented. I applied these wet because I do that with all loose powder to prevent fallout and it makes them look bolder.
With all loose shadows you can use them in multiple ways. Dany Sanz, Artistic Director of Make Up For Ever, suggests “dabbing a small amount on the areas of the face that need highlighting: around the eyes, on the cheekbones, and over lipstick” as well as the eyes of course. You can also mix them with clear gloss to make your own lipgloss.
I’m going to buy some more Make Up For Ever Star Powder at The Makeup Show Orlando this september so stay tuned for more.
