I believe this collection is releasing as early as July 15 now.
[stextbox id=”custom”]Couples can be seemingly mismatched…but when it works, it’s wonderful! These Duos for Eyes are doubly dramatic, with two shades combined in sophisticatedly unexpected ways…so much so that we call them M·A·C DOUBLE FEATURES. In eight daring pairings, they’re being introduced just as Summer fades away, COLOURIZATIONS Double Feature Shadow Compacts are the quickest, most convenient way to incite the imagination. Technakohl Liner gets the Best Friend role, emphasizing the chemistry between these eight interesting new dualities.[/stextbox]

I walked in Nordstroms and saw the collection on display so I swatched it for you! I’m sorry about the picture quality 🙁 I was using my phone. All the lip products are a pass for me and I believe the glosses and lipsticks might only be available from Nordstroms. MAC travel brush kits are always a pass for me. Travel brushes are machine-made and not at all the same quality as the regular MAC brushes. I know they look pretty but don’t fall for the hype. I never buy MAC eyeshadow palettes because I never like all of the colors. These Duos are no different, I really liked about 4 colors but none of them are in the same palette so I’m passing on this collection.
Duo 1, Duo 2, Duo 3, Duo 4
Duo 1- The 1st color is too frosty for me.
Duo 2- One of my favs but I only really like the first color. The green is similar to Bitter.
Duo 3- Love the teal but the brown was difficult to work with.
Duo 4- The brown color was unique. One of my favs.
Duo 5, Duo 6, Duo 7, Duo 8
Duo 5- The first color was a bit chalky. The second color is similar to Club but more and it’s an exact dupe for one of the colors in the Wet N Wild 8 pan palettes that’s currently on sale at Walgreens and CVS. I love this color!
Duo 6- It’s a neutral palette, I don’t remember having any trouble out it.
Duo 7- OMG I love the pink color! This is the best shade out of the collection. It’s a beautiful pink that has a purple metallic sheen to it. The second color wasn’t very pigmented at all.
Duo 8- The orange is truly pretty and pigmented. The second color was hard to swatch, it’s not very pigmented at all.
