PRO LONGWEAR LIPCREME $17.00 U.S./$20.00 CDN
Heart Hangover, Love Long Distance, You’re Perfect Already, Dear Diary
Love Long Distance
You’re Perfect Already
Gotta love the pro longwear formula. They are long-lasting and creamy. They apply and look super smooth. You’ll get about 4 hours of wear. They apply sheer at first and with about 3 applications you’ll get the coverage you see above.
I love those deep, cranberry purples so Heart Hangover is great. Love Long Distance is a light lilac and looks true to color. It’s too light on my skin tone to be worn out the box but this would be a great summer color on my lighter beauties. You’re Already Perfect is a neutral pale pink. Which is exactly why it doesn’t looks good on me. lol. Once again my beauties with light skin tones would love this. I bought Dear Diary because I read it was quite similar to Candy Yum Yum. It’s definitely is a pretty color and it’s supposed to be a neon pink but it pulls more purple the more pigmented the lips are.
POWDER TO THE PEOPLE $38.00 U.S./$45.00 CDN
*sigh* I knew this powder would be too light for me but I wanted to buy it because I am a collector and it looks pretty. But as soon as I read that the dots were eyeshadows I knew this powder would be a disaster. I heard that Beth Ditto wanted to incorporate twofers in this collection because she grew up poor. Great idea but poor execution on MACs end. The shadows are terribly pigmented, I swatched them 4 times in the picture. The powder is very pale and I’m not sure who it’s supposed to work for. The worst thing is that when it’s swirled together it turns grey. GREY! Unless you love the six feet under look don’t swirl them. It’s hard to pick up individual colors without touching other one, with your finger or a brush. Worst of all this powder is $38. Leave it at the store.
Available: MAC stores and online.
