I pretty much drool over Indie brand polishes on Instagram. I’ve never tried any but many are on my never-ending list products to buy. When Amy from Literary Lacquer reached out to me I checked her store and jumped at the chance to try them. She combined her love of lacquer and literature to create a fantastic polish line.
Love You Forever
A baby to medium holographic blue (3 coats)
A coppery, caramel colored strong linear holographic polish. The holo doesn’t look as strong from far away. It’s in the top 5 best shades I’ve gotten this year. It’s freaking gorgeous. (3 coats)
And So I Step Up
A merlot with matching fleck shimmer. I really didn’t care of for this one too much. The formula was too thick, it ended up evening out though. (3 coats)
Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster
A holographic turquoise blue with matching holographic glitter. (3 coats)
A holographic pearl silver. (3-4 coats)
These are my first holographic polishes and I couldn’t have been more pleased. They are really beautiful and unique. Nothing like what I already have. The pictures don’t do them justice. Amy really takes pride in her work, she even has a story to go with every polish. And did you see how they were wrapped?! I didn’t even want to open them. There are over 40 shades so far. I can’t wait to see what she comes out with next.
They retail for $10-12 each with very low shipping costs and you can buy them on her Literary Lacquers Etsy Shop.
*All of the polishes are 3-free and each contains two stainless steel shaker balls. All of the purchased shipping materials are 100% recycled and my greenwrap is 100% compostable as well as being recyclable.
