It was a whopping 72° today, so Spring is coming! You know what that means?! Time to update your look. Whether it be your hair color (you know I’ll be doing something colorful soon), wardrobe or makeup look; it’s time to try something new. That’s why I have a bunch of new L’Oreal products to show you how to get it started.
Luscious lips! You may have seen these in stores recently but L’Oreal released 10 Infallible Pro-Matte Glosses. A matte gloss? Isn’t that an oxymoron? Hmmm. Well it’s kinda like a matted down full coverage gloss. So it’s not completely matte and it’s not glossy so it’s like a satin really. It’s extremely moisturizing and like I said it’s full coverage so two dips of the wand was good enough. This shade is Forbidden Kiss.
The L’Oreal Infallible Pro Contour Palette. This palette is half highlight and contour and comes in light, medium and deep. It’s great for beginners especially and good for travel. I know most people prefer cream products for contouring but I recommend having powder products on deck too. They are better for those with oily skin and it’s quicker and easier to use/blend.
Talk about and All-In-One kit, this Brow Stylist Prep & Shape Pro Kit comes with an eyebrow powder, a wax for arching, mini tweezer, angled brush, and spoolie. I really appreciate how L’Oreal make these easy kits for people and they are so handy for just throwing in your purse. My brows need to be moderately filled so I didn’t use the powder, in my opinion it’s more for those who need a light fill. I do love the wax though because my brow hair is so long and it keeps them in place.
Infallible Matte-Matic Liner is a gel liner in a pencil. It went on smooth and stayed in place. It didn’t last on my waterline but honestly nothing does so no points lost there. It really is water resistant, I needed a makeup remover to get it off.
There’s new hair products too!
I picked up the Extraordinary Oil Conditioner a few months ago and I use it on my extensions. It has Coconut, Argan, Chamomile, Amla, Soja, and Sunflower oils. This system gives you shiny, silky and moisturized hair without weighing it down. I use the serum all the time now, in my natural hair too. It doesn’t add any weight to my hair and I use quite a lot of it.
The New Boost It Air-Whipped Densifying Foam (that was a mouth full) is great for wet roller sets. Just put a healthy amount throughout your hair after washing and use rollers or flexirods. You will have va-va-voom Spring hair, just curls everywhere.
Root Cover Up Spray is for grey coverage. While I don’t have grey hair yet my mother has stolen like 3 of my black hair dyes to cover her eyebrows and roots. Surprisingly none of them worked for her despite the claims that they did. So apparently grey hairs are harder to cover. I gave her this and she hasn’t complained so I take that as it worked lol. Since it’s a spray I told her to spray it on spoolie for her brows. The can is small and compact so you can really get in those roots. HAIR HACK! If you wear wigs and weave with closures you can use this to cover the roots if you over bleached your knots.
