Ok we’ve all heard the warning “don’t sleep in your makeup, it’s so bad for your skin!” but let’s face it we all do it. So instead of smacking ourselves on the wrist let’s find a backup plan.
Evening Soothe Wet Cleansing Towelettes
POND’S Evening Soothe towelettes gently clean away all traces of dirt and makeup, while calming the skin and senses with the relaxing fragrance of Chamomile and White Tea.
Chamomile Extract – Known for its soothing and calming properties
White Tea Extract – Contains protective anti-oxidants known to help promote younger-looking skin.
I’ve been using the Evening Soothe wipes for about 8 months now and I absolutely adore them. I love the light chamomile & white tea scent and they don’t leave my skin feeling dry, I can just wipe and lay down.
Original Fresh Wet Cleansing Towelettes
Infused with Vitamin E and a Triple Anti-Oxidant complex, they revitalize skin while leaving it perfectly clean and makeup free.
Vitamin E – Known to prevent water loss from skin and help promote overall skin health
Triple Anti-Oxidant complex – Helps to revitalize and refresh skin.
I only picked up the Original Fresh because my CVS was sold out of the Evening Soothe. I assumed the Original Fresh was just an unscented version of the others and for those who have more sensitive needs. I don’t know if the latter part is true but it has that fresh, clean linen smell. The scent is light enough that I don’t really notice it but I don’t really care for it. They do a great job with removing makeup and making my skin feel fresh like the Evening Soothe but the Original Fresh left my face feeling dry and a little tight. I wanted to moisturize right after using them and I don’t feel that need using the Evening Soothe because those are a bit creamy.
One wipe is enough for the entire face. You might have a harder time removing waterproof eyeliner using both of these. I only use them at night when I don’t want to get up and wash my face. They get the job done without leaving a residue, so no need to do a quick rinse off after.
Now I’ve only tried the Original Fresh and Evening Soothe but upon writing this review I’ve learned that Ponds also has Exfoliating Renewel wipes and a NEW Luminous Clean brightening wipes. I normally buy these at CVS during BOGO sales (they normally have them twice a month) but the other wipes are sold in different locations and I will try to pick them up ASAP. I believe they are $5.99 at my CVS so during sales I end up getting 2 packs for that price and one pack (30 wipes) normally lasts for a month. So they are a GREAT deal.
What are your go to wipes?
Price: Around $5-7 depends on location
