So Rite Aid sent me both the products in the new Biore Charcoal Skin Care collection. I was pretty excited.
Melt away the stress. Melt away the dirt and oil. Infused with natural charcoal, this thermal mask opens pores and draws out dirt. It finishes with a cooling sensation for tingly-smooth skin in just one minute. Mix this charcoal face mask with water to increase heating action by 2x. Talk about turning up the heat.
I love me some masks so I was super excited that I got to try this. This mask is oil-free and dermatologist tested. The good thing is it comes in individual packets, 4 to be exact. It comes with an adequate amount in each packet but my face is fat lol so I wish it was just a little more product in them. The bad thing is I wish there was more packets in the box. They suggest using the product 2-3 a week so if you really like this charcoal mask you’ll always finding yourself going to the store buying more.
I washed my face with my Clarisonic and put this mask on. As you spread it on your wet face you’ll immediately notice the heat and slight tingling. It actually got way warmer than I thought it would get. You have to massage it in for one minute, after that the self heating kind of disappears. This is meant to be a quick mask and it will not dry up or harden. Thoroughly rinse your face after. I finished it the routine by applying a serum and heavy night moisturizer.
I love this because it works great. The self heating and tingling really makes this mask stand out from other products. And I just looooovvvveeeee products that tingle. I also love the smell, it isn’t heavy or overbearing but I like it. This mask will give you a deep cleanse and leave you feeling refreshed but it isn’t moisturizing, that’s not the purpose of it either but it won’t dry you out if that worries you.
Biore was never really a brand I bought from before. Now that I’ve tried their facial cleansing wipes, this Biore Self Heating One Minute Mask and the Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser I can say I’m quite impressed with the brand. I’m interested to see what they come up with next.
